Otherwise its tablet to wheels.

I didn't think of battery coolant (makes sense though, considering the power draw), and left out the windshield washer fluid (here we just use straight water, and it's only topped up once every few years). So basically you're leaving out petrol (or diesel), engine oil, and ATF if you would have bought an autotragic (which is likely assuming you're in the US)

Like mahigan said, battery technology isn't good enough yet. Battery density is only doubling every 10 years and its prospect is to slow down even further (Similar to moore's law)

Besides, I came out on top big time, yet the big investors trying to downplay their failed speculations.

Very sound advice. The exact opposite of what the big banks and investors suggest is typically the best option to take.

It gets even worse once you subject those batteries to climate extremes, cold in particular.

Your car explodes every day. Ah the combustion engine.

Tesla is driving a market (no pun intended), that is perfectly fat and happy not advancing technology. Cars getting 10, 15, 20 mpg this day in age, shows the complacency of the auto makers to be content in being average because there was no forward thinking or pressure. They do just enough to appease the EPA and other agencies to keep shoving 30 year old tech into your vehicle.

It is pretty incredible how far this company has come with all the BS they have to deal with, like most states states not allowing them to sell direct to consumers, because of archaic third party seller laws (dealers).

I am a Ford guy, but appreciate something new driving change or at least giving you an alternative that isn't a Prius.

Short target on its back, terrible time to buy. Overvalued and waiting for a correction.

TESLA will deliver..

I took a test drive a while back.. they had the main chassis and electronics laid out on the showroom floor.. This car is so damn mechanically simple relative to gasoline cars..

I think you guys are simply not seeing how dramatic the reduction in construction complexity is.. NO TRANSMISSION..

I recommend you guys go see their bare platform car in person..

Now as for stock.. is it overvalued.. definitely not.. You can make carry a loss of many billions with that giant battery factory alone.

As far as government subsidies, who else would they give it to..

A buddy of mine bought $5K worth of short options. He thinks the company is excessively over valued and is due for an implosion. Kinda agree with him.

How can they be worth more then... pretty much any real car company? Tesla's might as well be a myth to normal people when 99% of us have never even seen one let alone own one.
