This troll is just messing with your head- you said so yourself. Don't feed him.

A powered sub-woofer comprises .1 in 5.1, so I think for that you are right. Shouldn't matter where they are; getting dedicated signal feeds is what matters.

You could list something like "7.2 +height/atmos on main" and give a run-down in the content. What's important for the listing is being understood, not nomenclature.
