For Sale:
[FS] 17.3" 75hz IPS GSYNC, i7-7820HK kaby, gtx 1070 laptop $1120

Will Ship To: US48, CA, US50

USA + Canada only.

Specs:

Clevo P670HS-G 17.3" 75hz (overclocks to 100hz safely, only two clicks in nvidia control panel to OC it safely, frame skipping test from UFO shows no skipped frames, games look gorgeous buttery smooth).

16GB DDR4 GSKILL 2133 2x8GB

NO SSD, M.2, OR HDD IS INCLUDED, WHICH ALSO MEANS NO OS.... unless you want I can include my Samsung 960 Evo 500GB I used it with, and I can included a clean install of Windows 10 if you want as well, up to you... but will cost extra so let me know, otherwise I am selling the Evo separately.

GTX 1070 that does +150 on core and +500 on vram stable even after 8 hours of gaming )(temps never go past 77 celsius for me on the 1070 and it boosts to over 2000 core sometimes).

i7-7820HK flagship mobile kaby lake, runs at 4.2ghz on all 4 cores around 83 celsius is the max for it when gaming. (you have to use FN + F1 to set fans to max speed while game, then do it again for normal speeds) I just intel XTU to OC it, never use the Clevo control panel its garbage. I can guide you how to do it, or ship it pre-overclocked (will require you buying my Evo M.2 though obviously)

RGB keyboard built in, only usable with Clevo software.

burr brown amp, and Sabre 32 bit DAC for the headphones slot, it sounds decent honestly with most headphones, so you won't need external audio for this

soundblast x-fi MB5 + onkyo built in speakers sound great.

also has GSYNC on the display. I never get any screen tearing or motion blur because of the high refresh, gorgeous screen, no dead pixels or stuck pixels.

warranty is voided because I removed the back panel, re-pasted with Grizzly Konductonaut (the worlds best thermal paste for heat transfer made in germany), and cut a hole over the CPU heatsink to allow extra ventilation.

this is the laptop I own: https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/VR_Xplorer_X7HK_GTX1070_G-Sync_Gaming_Laptop
clean installs are super fast because there is a company in Portugal, Obsidian, that supports driver updates over their desktop client and this laptop model is supported by them. )i can link it to you and walk you through the process, very easy.

I can also provide the receipt for proof of purchase, but it is kind of worthless, like I said I voided warranty, laptop itself runs great though.

also it beats a desktop i7-4790k in Cinebench scores. smile.gif plays Battlefield 1, Witcher 3, on high (not ultra) at 100 fps 100hz with 0 drops in frame rate, gsync is wonderful so if a lot of enemies pop in screen at once and it drops to 80 fps for a split second you do not notice it. smile.gif

---more pictures incoming, including a video youtube link--- will be a few days though.

Yes and No.

Main reason I am selling is because the 7820HK overheats even if you overclock it just one step up, basically making it 5% faster than 7700HQ kaby lake. Msi laptops with 7820HK overclock to 4.2ghz all 4 cores and don't break 80 celsius on air, but these Clevo models, while being thinner and sexier to look at, are not able to do that level of cooling.

I am going to do a water cooled mini-ITX build with a 7700k instead and a 1080 ti. smile.gif

but for those interested: some extra facts about my sell

it has Intel 8265 wireless m.2 in it, and bluetooth 4.2 (the latest of intel offering)

also arctic mx-4 on the cpu and gpu = you will never need to change thermal paste for the life of the laptop (8+ years Arctic advertises)

also I have some imported South African dust filters cut out to fit over the intake of the cpu and gpu (it does not block air flow but does stop 90% of dust) smile.gif

Interesting. In my experience, Clevo laptops tend to have equivalent cooling solutions compared with MSI. Nonetheless, I still consider this a good deal because it's less than $200 more than my signature rig I built last week. It's more powerful in most ways, and comes with a (fast) monitor, keyboard, and mouse (being a laptop). Of course, the reason I built my sig rig was also for overclocking because I got sick of my MSI GS73VR, so I'm in the same boat as you. GL with sale.

price drop to $1120. laptop just came out a couple months ago btw, 2 grand specs. if it was not for creators update ruining the 100hz and me not wanting to wait on nvidia to fix it in drivers I would keep it.
