For Sale:
[FS] 17.3" 75hz IPS GSYNC, i7-7820HK kaby, gtx 1070 laptop $1120

Will Ship To: US48, US50, CA

USA + Canada only. Price is firm, this is a 2+ grand laptop.

Specs:

Clevo P670HS-G 17.3" 75hz (overclocks to 102hz safely, but I use 100hz only two clicks in nvidia control panel, frame skipping test from UFO shows no skipped frames, games look gorgeous buttery smooth).

16GB DDR4 GSKILL 2133 2x8GB

Intel 600p 128GB NVME SSD with Windows 10 pre-installed and activated.

GTX 1070 that does +150 on core and +500 on vram stable even after 8 hours of gaming )(temps never go past 77 celsius for me on the 1070 and it boosts to over 2000 core sometimes).

i7-7820HK flagship mobile kaby lake, I leave it at stock settings and it gets around 90 celsius, which is normal for this CPU and safe. (this is also the reason I decided to sell and build me a mini-itx rig with watercooling, because I love overclocking and very low temps)

RGB keyboard built in.

burr brown amp, and Sabre 32 bit DAC for the headphone out slow.

soundblast x-fi MB5 + onkyo built in speakers sound 10x better than most laptops.

also has GSYNC on the display. ( i use gsync on, MFAA on, and Fast Sync on) I never get any screen tearing or motion blur because of the high refresh, gorgeous screen, no dead pixels or stuck pixels.

warranty is voided because I removed the back panel, re-pasted with arxtic mx-4, and cut a hole over the CPU heatsink to allow extra ventiliation.

laptop has 0 issues as long as you don't overclock (main reason I am selling is I like tinkering and overclocking)

this is the laptop I own: https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/VR_Xplorer_X7HK_GTX1070_G-Sync_Gaming_Laptop

I can also provide the receipt for proof.

also it beats a desktop i7-4790k in Cinebench scores. smile.gif plays Battlefield 1, Witcher 3, on high not ultra at 100 fps 100hz with 0 drops in frame rate, gsync is wonderful so if a lot of enemies pop in screen at once and it drops to 80 fps for a split second you do not notice it. smile.gif

EDIT: after the windows 10 creators update, 100hz works still, but games are no longer showing it as an option, I am not waiting on Nvidia to fix this, so I am selling.

there is a big hole I cut out of back of laptop over CPU to help keep cpu heatsink nice and cool. i run it at 3.6ghz all 4 cores undervolted, never breaks 78 celsius and never downclocks.

price does not include shipping or paypal fees. we can work those out in message, just PM me your address and I screenshot an estimate for you.

Yes and No.

Main reason I am selling is because the 7820HK overheats even if you overclock it just one step up, basically making it 5% faster than 7700HQ kaby lake. Msi laptops with 7820HK overclock to 4.2ghz all 4 cores and don't break 80 celsius on air, but these Clevo models, while being thinner and sexier to look at, are not able to do that level of cooling.

I am going to do a water cooled mini-ITX build with a 7700k instead and a 1080 ti. smile.gif

but for those interested: some extra facts about my sell

it has Intel 8265 wireless m.2 in it, and bluetooth 4.2 (the latest of intel offering)

also arctic mx-4 on the cpu and gpu = you will never need to change thermal paste for the life of the laptop (8+ years Arctic advertises)

also I have some imported South African dust filters cut out to fit over the intake of the cpu and gpu (it does not block air flow but does stop 90% of dust) smile.gif

Interesting. In my experience, Clevo laptops tend to have equivalent cooling solutions compared with MSI. Nonetheless, I still consider this a good deal because it's less than $200 more than my signature rig I built last week. It's more powerful in most ways, and comes with a (fast) monitor, keyboard, and mouse (being a laptop). Of course, the reason I built my sig rig was also for overclocking because I got sick of my MSI GS73VR, so I'm in the same boat as you. GL with sale.

price drop to $1120. laptop just came out a couple months ago btw, 2 grand specs. if it was not for creators update ruining the 100hz and me not wanting to wait on nvidia to fix it in drivers I would keep it.
