EK-360x Extreme moding

I'm looking at picking up a New Kit I contacted EK Support they replied saying the rad would be too thick for top mount how could I mod the case to fit this or should I just stick it Infront of the intake fan on inside instead? Not opposed to taking a Dremel to make this snug as a glove.

I picked up the same kit. I couldn't get the X360 to fit in my Lian-Li PC-O11. My build log is listed in my signature.

It really depends on the case that you are using, if you are using the Cosmos II from your signature, then you are definitely going to have to do some mods.

With fans, the rad is 85mm thick (3.35 inches), and also don't forget the end tanks, they will take up some space as well.

Yeah my H240x is starting to grow fur inside from what I can see so it's only a matter of time before eyes teeth other parts start forming lol. Ok I'll pick it up see what needs to be cut out. It looks like a really slick setup that I will keep for awhile plus easier to clean.
