It's been used more in simulation software. Still used for more then demo and benchmarks though. Everybody sees Crysis as just a benchmark, even though to this day it's still my favorite shooter.

GTX 1080 FE @ 2012MHz boost/ 1400MHz mem + 4930K @ 4.375GHz (125MHz BCLK) + RAM DDR3 @ 2333MHz CL10

EDIT:

I ran it for the 2nd time on the same settings and I got better score, so it's not that consistent even though I've heated up the card with 1st run so boost clocks are even trough the bench.

CHEERS..

Its def favoring the 290/390x over the regular 290/390 thats for sure. I dont get close to that at 1100/1600. I may try running it in high priority but wont change much.

Nah it isn't that bad

290 @ 1235/1500

It's too bad there isn't a graphics-only score. I can see already some 980 TI's beating on 1080's, due to CPU being a few gen's behind. Where the CPU's are even matched, the 1080 is showing its expected 10-15% lead. I'd say the benchmark is accurate, because it is confirming some established patterns.

The CPU makes no difference unless you are getting 10K+ score. This is all GPU.

Here 290X @ 1225/1625 + 100mV

I had some background apps eating a bit CPU and HDD causing lower scores in any test, but you get the idea for scores more or less +-100.
