Powered 2.0 speakers

Thread Starter
Hi

Can you guys recommend me some decent, but small powered speakers?

Right now i have the Audioengine A5+, which i am very pleased with, they are just taking up too much space on my desk.

I use them primarily for music and movies, but sometimes also for gaming.

My budget is around $200 and i will be buying either from amazon.co.uk, amazon.de or find the cheapest store at pricerunner.dk.

I will be keeping my Audioengine D1 DAC.

Thank you in advance.

Sterling Audio MX5 Studio Monitors. These are normally about $300 a pair but Amazon have a great deal on them ($160):

https://www.amazon.com/Sterling-Audio-MX5-Powered-Monitor/dp/B01CLTD9VO

Many reviews on it, all positive.

Would it not be cheaper to keep the Audioengine A5+ and just get a bigger desk?

I agree. If you are otherwise happy with your speakers, wall mounting them, if possible, would be cheaper.

Thank you all for the suggestions.

I decided to create a media room, and i'll move my A5+ to that specific room.

I'll get some good headphones for the PC instead.
