You can use the workaround, i was unsatisfied with vrm Temps so i bought the full water block. The one bitspower makes is compatible with the 1070 turbo, 1080 turbo, and 1080ti turbo.

It's slightly more than single slot, but you'd easily be able to get two in a modern case. The block is well made. I bought it from performance pcs

Im about to build something like this build by Smicha, So question is if the blocks are thin enough for that. I know he dident use backplates on his last build to get them in.
Can you use Bitspowers block whitout backplate to gain some mm?

can you please confirm that this waterblock BP-WBV1080AT-H-BRGB found here https://www.bitspower.com.tw/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4492 and here http://www.performance-pcs.com/water-blocks-gpu/bitspower-asus-turbo-gtx-1080-clear-acrylic-for-asus-turbo-gtx-1080-vga-card.html#Customer-Reviews works with the Asus 1080 ti turbo card found here https://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Cards/TURBO-GTX1080TI-11G/ as I haven't seen any info specifically stating that this waterblock fits on the 1080ti turbo, it seems the capacitor arrangement on the 1080ti turbo is different than the 1080 turbo, will this still fit? Which waterblock does actually fit that you are talking about, if not this one?
Edit: Just found this https://bitspower.com/html/product/pro_show.php?products_id=5357 but it's sold nowhere so which one did you buy, that fits?

I can confirm that this waterblock https://bitspower.com/html/product/pro_show.php?products_id=5357 will work with the Asus 1080ti turbo. I purchased one about a week ago and have no issues with it

Need to take it apart for a moment because seems like my hose clamp is interfering with memory cooling a bit (need to remove it and use zip ties)

edit: actually GPU aio mounting bracket is touching stock vrm / memory heatsink in edges and corners... mmm.... well time to modify bracket...
edit2: well broke my fitting again, guess i will replace it and give up fixing it with superglue rolleyes.gif

Alright have been running my Asus GTX 1080 Ti Turbo on water a while now and fixed mounting issues. Because ghetto setup, temps are not best but they're okay... GPU die max temp (2 hours PUBG 4K gaming): 57C, idle: 26C.

Block: Arctic Cooling Accelero Hybrid II block in Accelero Hybrid I shroud + stock memory / vrm cooling plate.

Pics: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I had to cut away one side + corners from bracket to make it fit with stock VRM & memory cooling plate

Hopefully next GPU can be also fitted with same block smile.gif

I can confirm the bitspower block does work for the 1080ti. I purchased it from performancepcs.com. After stress testing it I found that the card maxed out at 45c while ok the silent mode profile in a custom loop with the cpu also being cooled.
