I think I am going to bite and grab one, if I have inaccurate colors as much as you are describing I will return it or get it professionally calibrated. I have a calibrated LG E6 OLED, so I'll easily be able to tell how "off" it is.
The biggest selling point for me is the PPI increase over my 65", and 120hz strobing. The LG OLEDs use sample and hold so the motion on this thing should be SIGNIFICANTLY better. Anyone with LG OLED that can confirm?
Why not get a C7 oled? You can run them at 120hz native at 1080p and the motion clarity is insane with it! A lot of things fixed on my C7 versus the B6 and E6 I had previously like the following:
- NO ABL with oled light at 35 and Contrast at 85
- 21ms Input lag confirmed with my Leo Bodnar in PC mode with ISF Bright with 4:4:4
- No more undefeatable edge enhancement
- No more pink tint anti glare, looks jet black now
- Significantly reduced image retention versus 2016 oled's, just go look at RTINGS numbers for that, it is HUGE improvement!
Basically the C7 would get you accurate colors in ISF bright mode with 4:4:4 and you get the 21ms of lag. Top it off that you can then run your pc at 120hz and enjoy all of those benefits and 120hz!
I would recommend you grab the 55C7 and use for pc gaming IMHO, having been through many displays this one is really blowing me away and fixed all of the issues I had with the prior Oled's I had in the past!
