I want to share with you the craftsmanship infernal machine I created to bend the plexiglass. fed with an old notebook power supply and made from mdf 1 centimeters comprises a fixed part and the other movable by means of two hinges. from the notebook power supply that I used at the beginning was a 5volt and 2A, but could not heat the wire. Now I'm using a power supply 18.6volt and 6A and the wire heats up perfectly

Here in detail the folds on the panels

and here the bottom panel that will cover the right part

I still end up the pieces and give it a lived-in look ...

I finished plexiglass panels that I want to bring into the case. Here they are ready to be painted. I sanded the surface, apply a light gray primer and then two coats of matt black. I used light gray paint to create sketches on the surface that then I'm going to mask with a film made by the great Stefano of bestickers.com

ready for painting

and painting almost completed.. thumb.gif

what do you think about it??? biggrin.gif
