Today I present some little news.

I would like to thank Alessandro Paxia of Ybris-Cooling.it for the support.

I decided to use this mod soft hoses instead of rigid. I do not want to be limited in the case of change thermal paste or upgrades, to having to turn upside down 20kg of computers to empty the liquid cooling system.

The fittings are of the EK-AF with matt black finishes series while for the compression fittings 16/10 matte finish but have always tending to dark gray.

the tubes are EK-Duraclear in 16/10 format.

For liquid I chose the Mayhems Pastel Black. to be sure I took two liters but I think that maybe it will serve a third.

The reservoir is a EK-Res X4 250 R2.0 in borosilicate glass. 80mm in diameter and 250mm in height. It brings about 800ml of liquid !!!
it is impossible to stay dry. It offers the possibility of being mounted via the bracket interlocking with specific attacks for fans / 120mm radiators or with the ring support always with drilling for fan / radiator 120mm. I will use in this case the side bracket to hold it suspended at the height of the vga.

for this project i decided to mount the vga vertically and looking between the various pci extender I chose the one from 3M, which is the most reliable

and here is the vga vertical holder that I have handcrafted by myself

looking good, Love the glass res, thinking of buying one, also interested to see how the black dye looks and holds up. I wanted black dye for my last build but decided on black tubes instead.

Thanks for subscribing smile.gif
I mounted the reservoir using the original case reservoir holder, but added a 45 degree bent plexyglass panel that allows the reservoir to remain in the correct position. As soon as I get home I will publish a detailed photo wink.gif

I think that during this weekend I will test the liquid in the mod. Follow the discussion and you will see wink.gif

Today I will show you how the work goes on

I finished painting the vertical support and it works great! I decided to integrate the controller in the side panel.
It's a shame to hide it in the closed front panel. I recreated the side panel because the painting was not good and the result did not impress me

For the pump I used nylon spacers with nylon screws on a neoprene sheet.
