Why do people keep entertaining this wishful fantasy? There will never be a single Linux distro. That's a good thing and a bad thing for numerous reasons, but it's the way it will always be. It is not possible
for there to be only one distro.
It's also unlikely that there will ever be a distro that completely avoids the command line. I can't avoid the command line on any OS, I don't see why Linux distros would be any different. A GUI is a terribly inefficient way of executing commands, so it is always limited in what it can do.
As for games... well, that's up to the publishers.
