To each their own I suppose.

tell that to your kids and spouse when they all say how much they wanted one.....then get back to me on that....

I know I wouldn't marry someone that stupid, and my son certainly isn't. Not waiting in no damn 6 hour line, or camping out to save a couple hundred dollars or getting something maybe a year early. That's stupid. Material things. .

Huge difference between getting something for myself and my kids....you know how i camped out for my note 4 when it first came out??.....heres how it broke down....I dialed the local t-mobile store and asked...."You got a note 4 in stock??....what color??...good...hold onto a black one for me...I will pick it up on my way to work" ....simple and sweet...I dont camp out for movies either....

Now as for my so called "stupidity" for marrying my spouse....odd thing was she wasnt into material things when we first dated and let alone married....but after getting that ring and popping out a couple of kids....yeah material things mean alot to her now....I wish i knew that would happen, but if i had that kind of vision I would be a trillionaire from picking stocks since i knew the future before it occurred....

But I appreciated being called stupid for not knowing that ahead of time....thanks....

What the hell? We got lost somewhere. I assumed you were talking about huge new release items? You can't just call the store to have them held. I'm talking about those people who camp outside the store for two days or whatever to get that new console that is just released for Christmas, or something similar. And it's also called self control, and keeping the household under control. Working together to not get too many material things and to learn to live without them, or make sure they don't control you.

Never said you were stupid. I just think the act of waiting like that seems stupid to me. You can do stupid stuff and not be a stupid person.

Sorry for the misunderstanding then....I thought that comment was directed at me cause I did do the camping out, but not for myself though...

I do laugh at those that camp out for the latest star wars movie(i love star wars, just not that much) or camping in line a week for the latest iphone....when the iphone 6 and 6+ came out...some people took 7 days off just to wait in line at the local apple store. ...I was thinking "dont you have a job to goto or a life to live??"..

.Hell even had coworkers taking vacation cause the next halo release was coming out and they wanted to play it....believe me i love games but not enough to lose vacation time or money over it... I view it more as a spare time activity than anything....Took my last vacation break going on a cruise to caymen islands and mexico a much better use of my vacation time then a game...

Happens to me all the time. I'm not always 100% clear, plus I'm a major cynic, so it doesn't help

Just can't be bothered anymore. An SFF PC fills that need so much better. And given the state of emulation today, a phone also fills that role. Aside from nostalgia, I can't think of any legit reason to buy any mini console.

Smart. Nintendo knows that a majority of people that wanted one bought one. I'm sure they've learned their lessons with trends with their past few consoles.
