Buying a Mousepad (Zowie GTF-X)

Thread Starter
I have the zowie gtfx, and i like that it doesn't develop a middle resistant spot like other mouse pads that i have tried.
I am interested in buying another one but, want to be sure that there are no better mouse pads out there.

What do you guys recommend?
I want a glide consistent, wear resistant, fast/low friction mouse pad. Is the Zowie GTFX still the best option meeting those requirements?
are there any differences between the BenQ and the non BenQ versions?

I have a cougar control coming it from what one person on here said and from the pics ive seen it looks to be the same surface the only difference in the base, its thickness and that its got more size options including an extended size. It'll be here any mintue. Pictures to follow (in a new thread)

I bring it up in case you wanted an extended size

I have PTF-X, used with zowie ZA12... the middle(where I move the mouse), with 2 months, friction increased considerably.

I'm using the goliathus control, and the middle with 1~2months(maybe the same time as PTF-X), friction increased considerably, but I feel less than with PTF-X...

I have:Name(when I bought)
-Goliathus Control(12/16) [friction increased considerably in the middle really fast, 1~2months, but still usable]

-Zowie PTF-X(12/16) [friction increased considerably in the middle really fast, 1~2months, the difference in middle and edge make me stop use it, the middle looks like that catch/hold my mouse, strange feeling.]

-CM Swift-RX(08/16) [I tested here, I think I have to clean, the middle is faster than the edges ;-; )

-Razer Manticor(07/16) [friction increased in the middle with 1~2months, but better than any cloth pad]

-Razer Scarab(02/15) [friction increased in the middle with 1~2months, but better than any cloth pad]

-Roccat Taito(08/14)

-SS QCK Heavy(02/13) [can't remember my experience with it]

-SS 4HD(many time~~ 2011~2012) [friction increased considerably in the middle really fast, 1~2months, bad]

-SS mini(I dont have anymore~~2009)

Maybe I think the ones that last longer was QCK Heavy and Roccat Taito... It's hard to say, I use my computer 4~12hours almost everyday, than...

I really like hard mousepads, but they cause pain in my wrist with long use...

I really hate friction, I try to run from him but he always get me. poke.gif

hmm, in my case, the zowie g-tfx is still going with minor (unnoticeable most of the time) middle friction. I have it for a while now (dont remember when exactly, but definitely more than 2 months)
