I think that people who enjoy the conquest map style prefer BF2 to BF2142. The big thing in 2142 is titan mode. I have no personal problem with a Titan / Conquest alternating server, however, a lot of people will only play on 24/7 Titan or 24/7 conquest. When you alternate, you piss off both those kinds of people.

  • A crowd to appeal to (Titan / Conquest crowd)

  • No team swap (I hate losing squads and having to remember who the enemy is)
There is a server with a auto-kick feature that gives you 90 seconds to get in a squad or it boots you, I think this is a great feature. In terms of rules, the more rules, the worse the game play. I think the best rule is no asshatting and don't ruin gameplay for others. That pretty much covers it all.

Map Rotation:

Camp Gibraltar is a very popular Conquest map so it would appear twice. Suez Canal is also very popular for Titan mode, so it would also appear twice.

Option A

Camp Gibraltar (Conquest)
Minsk (Titan)
Cerbere Landing (Conquest)
Suez Canal (Titan)
Tunis Harbor (Conquest)
Shuhia Taiba (Titan)
Camp Gibraltar (Conquest)

Limiting the server to Northern strike maps (or including them) isn't a good idea. Look how good servers do that switch between Vanilla BF2 and expansion packs... They go poo.

I think there are enough people here that want both titan and conquest. You seem to be the only voice for an all titan server.

I also think we should consider northern strike, but base our choice off of a vote. I know I and plenty of other people will be buying it, but I don't want to block anyone who may not have it. Maybe we could have a block of northern strike maps or something like that.
