This log will be updated weekly or every few days, depend on how busy I am during that week. I will be breaking down the old system this weekend, after I flush the system out and make sure the Mono-block is clean.

I have seen some builds lately with this case that don't do it justice. I can't see how someone spends $900 for a case and install barely anything in the case. I am hoping to do this case some justice!

I hope you enjoy this build in the upcoming weeks, I know I will.

That big black enclosure you see in the first pic is how it was shipped and it is heavy as hell. I should have pics of the case out of that enclosure by this weekend. I didn't want to bring it in yet while I am dismantling the SMA8. I can see myself tripping over it in the office.

Well here we go....

I should have it out of the case later tonight. I am still prepping the rads and cleaning up my motherboard. I am going to try the Gelid thermal pads under my EK monoblock.

My plan is to use the GTX 480 and GTS 360 at the bottom for the GPUs. The GTR 360 in the front and GTR 480 on the top, I have the GTS 480 on standby just in case the GTR is too thick on top with push and pull fans. I will be using the Silent Wings 3 2200rpm high speed fans with the GTR. Fans, thermals, pumps, and lights will be regulated with the aquaero 6.

Ok, I am back and I have some updates.

First about the Enthoo Elite case and quality. When I pull the case out of the box, I notice a piece of the wood panel sticking out our the thin area of the foam protection, but no physical damage outside of the box. I think the foam should have been a tad more thicker in the areas with the gaps. Also, the on grip I have about this case is that some of the screws where not screwed in straight, some where screwed in at an angle, but it was only a few and I was able to fix them without the case getting out of alignment.

Now to the good stuff. I added another Silent Wings 3 140mm fan for the rear of the case. Also, I purchase 4 more 120mm for the top rad for push pull configuration. Yes, I am going to max out this case!

Here are some pics of the case below.

I spent 20 minutes untangling the cable in back of this case, it was a mess.

I just ordered some 32GB G.Skill Trident Z RBG memory. They have been calling me for over an month and I got some on sale today. I guess I will be throwing up my other Trident Zs on eBay tonight.

Here are some pictures of the 1080ti and the EK block installation.

Ok, where do I begin...

I added the RGB memory and the Samsung 960 Pro 512GB to the board last weekend.

I also got the last set of fans for push and pull on the top rad.

I also started to add the fittings to plan out my tubing. I also did a mod with the radiator bracket with a black reflective sheet of plexi glass. I didn't have to drill holes into the bracket to bolt down the sheet. I brought a 16x16 sheet and cut it down to 16x12 and drill 4 holes into the plexi to bolt down to the bracket and then line up my reservoir mounts and drill 8 holes. Here are the results below.

I also added a 140mm fan in the rear.

Here are more pictures of the fittings.

This weekend I will be working on the wire management and lighting. I have two new pumps coming in Friday for my Aquaero 6. I just had 2 pwm pumps, but I wanted free up some of my pwm connections and let the aquabus control and monitor the pump. I will also be working on my custom bracket to hold the aquaero and power adjust modules in the bottom area in the back of the case. It is pretty much done, I just have to paint it this weekend.

I have the new ribbons for the videos cards and 1" D plugs to connect the cards together. It will probably be one of the last things I install along with a 120mm fan in the bottom front chamber. Then I will start to work on the hard tubing next weekend if everything goes as planned.

New Update!

I swapped out my old pumps for the Aquaero controlled ones and added black MDPC sleeving.

I connected the new PCI-e cables to the bracket and installed them to the case. Then I connected the 1080 ti cards with 1 inch D-Plugs from Bitspower and the EVGA SLI bridge. It turned out pretty good!

I finished most of the cable management, but I have to finish the cabling for the lighting. I will be done with that later this week along with the Aquaero connections. I already upgraded my software the firmware on the Aquaero and changed the aquabus IDs on the pumps. I will not be adding the USB Power Adjust Modules, since I don't need them for this build. So, I have to redo my bracket and paint this week. The spot on the bottom left is where the Aquaero will be placed. I also added a 120mm fan at the bottom chamber to help push out the hot air to the rear.

I went from a SMA8 to this case. I like both cases, I think I like the Phanteks case so far because of the hidden filters and it looks more sleek. I will know soon if the air flow is about the same or better. I also like the full temper glass panel.
