Anodized screws and fixings

Thread Starter
Hi guys, I'm looking at replacing the thumb screws for my case (Corsair Carbide 400C) PSU screws, motherboard screws, AIO screws etc. The case thumb screws should be easy enough to source and I've seen some cool anodized red ones.

To replace the PSU screws, I really love the look of the countersunk washers (again, in red), coupled with either hex/socket head countersunk screws in anodized black/chrome - I think this would looks awesome!

My question is, does anyone know what size (thread, length, M rating etc) screws I need to:

- Replace the thumb screws on my Kraken AIO?
- Replace the the thumb screws on my Carbide 400C case
- Replace my Mobo screws?

Pretty sure that all screws for the above are all the same size, irrespective of manufacturer, but just looking for confirmation of what size/length/thread Mobo, AIO (Kraken x52) and PSU screws I'll need.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers guys

MOST screws in computers are #6-32 The smaller ones, like on CD drives and SSDs are #4-40

The first number is the screw diameter and the second number is the threads per inch.

A good place to get weird screws, or any screws for that matter is mcmaster.com
