Whilst I settle in for the wait for a Vega card to go along with my new R5 1600 build, I'm using a Sapphire 280X a.k.a the HD 7970.
Whilst being an old card, it's still great. I've just got a really strange issue. From what I can gather it appears to be a common issue but the only "fixes" I see are for CCC and not RS.

When in any game (using Overwatch as an example), I get this black border around the image if i run the game at anything lower than native res (3840x2160):

HOWEVER, it doesn't happen if I select the 30Hz option:

And curiously, it doesn't happen at 1080p:

And for good measure, here's the game at 4K:

Now, with the 280X not having HDMI 2.0 I am forced to run one of my 2 4K monitors at 30Hz. It doesn't bother me as I use the 2nd monitor to game, which works at 4K over DisplayPort. I'm not sure if this is relevant but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

I'm running on driver 17.2.1

My monitors are a pair of Acer K242HQK's, and they have an option in the OSD called "Wide Mode" which I have set to "Full". None of the other options do anything.

Would any of you kind people be able to impart some wisdom on this problem?

Thanks smile.gif
