trimming/cutting Led light strip to make it fit?

Have the Enthoo primo case and in process of taking the blue led light strip and Leds out an replacing it with a green one. Only problem the led strip I'm getting is less than 1/8 inch to wide. Would it be okay to trim, grind, sand or cut the width down just a little?

No thanks, after 2 days of looking for a non Chinese website.. shipping takes ages. finally found one here in USA selling 4mm wide led strip.

the pics is to let you see how tiny and near the edge the trace are

Okay, I see what your saying now, took a second closer look at the pic. It is very close to close to try cutting off enough to make it fit. Thanks for being patient😄
Have a feeling it wouldn't have been a good bet hehe

Got 4mm narrow led strips at

"Krist customs LED lights"

just copy paste 🖕🏻 that into your browser he is only one I could find selling extra narrow led light strips in USA, he is located in Texas. I like Texas.
