Athlon II 255 @4.0 with very low temps

i got 4 of these for free because they had bent pins. i straightened the pins, sold three, then decided to try an overclock. it already takes 1.525v Vcore to run it stabily at 4 ghz, it went up 15 BLCK on the first voltage bump, but the last one, to get to 4ghz got me 4 BLCK, i dont even think another voltage bump is worth it, although the temps are at 48c full load, prime 95. can i push the voltage past 1.6 if the temps are fine, or is it still ill advised?

*edit* the first suicide run i made, when i took it straight to 1.55v Vcore, the cpu downthrottled to 1Ghz, i went to auto everything and started over

wow nice. let me know how high you can get it stable.
iirc those chips can't get past 3.7ghz regardless of how many volts you try pushing

i got it to a little past 4.1- as the increases in VCore are getting exponentially less and less effective. I really doubt that raising the VCore to 1.6 would even get me 4.2, and thats at the risk of burning down the house. just not worth it to try any higher, but i thought id post another unsuspecting 4ghz chip while i had my hands on it.
