Salt required, but it's the same website that broke news about RX 580/570 launch date and Polaris 12 a month ago. Recently they leaked info about a low-end GTX 1030 as well. hannibalsmiley.png

Yep, exactly.

I am waiting for GDDR6 ot HMB2. Probably 1280 Ti HBM2 at $799 in the year 2019 is going to be what I end up buying. :DDDD until then my laptop will do.

Mid tier and lower Volta will likely run GDDR5X, high-end Volta will have HBM2.

Kinda hard to assume that, considering the 1080 was a big jump from the 980.

980 > 1080
Titan X > Titan X (Pascal)

Neither of these are close to 5%, your about 6-8 times off from the truth and there's no evidence to suggest anything like that.

I doubt this entirely unless they know something about Vega. They have no reason to release anything within less than a year the 1080 ti release, they own this high end market.
well volta was already in hpc market they had rumors it was gonan ship this year already but with vegas ability to use your ram as a vram cache the infinity fabric with ryzen cpus that could be the thing thats scaring nvida as they dont have anything close to that ability, amd innovates nvida stagnates, but nvidia wil lslap something simiular together eventually,
