Side panel fan mod does it worth?

Hi, guys! I have Corsair carbide spec 03 and I thinking of replacing its side panel with an full size acrylic sheet pairing with 200mm fan to cover almost the whole mobo. My case got 157mm for a cpu cooler so this mod will definitely reduce that room and I'll have to go with a low profile cooler something like 140mm or less maybe to fit an ultra thin fan.
So in general what is the feasibility of this mod? Is going with a full size heatsink would get me a better results than cooling a smaller one with that huge fan? I have read once that side panel fan have a negative impact on the cpu cooler! Seems weird to me. What do you think?

Keep the airflow going from the front of the case (intake fans), to the back (exhaust fans). Use a larger tower cooler on the CPU with one or two fans mounted to it.

Side panel fans can induce a lot of turbulence and negatively impact airflow. I've only used them as a last resort to aid screaming hot GPUs.

Thanks for your input! So I should lower that fan position under the cpu cooler to cool down the GPU and the NB? Or I just need to get rid of this idea?

Scroll down this thread (<< link) and look for the drawings of fan placement and airflow. That's roughly what you want, with fan positions varying by the case you have.

Case windows are great for showing off your hardware, but I'd keep the fans on the front, rear, and top panels.

Thanks for your concern! I will check this out but yeah you're right I think I just need to mode the side panel without adding any fans. Maybe if I would notice that gpu is overheating.
Sorry for my bad English xD
