SSD over USB2 TRIM support?
Edited by HITTI - 5/3/17 at 12:04pm

I think that is down to the USB/SATA controller (The enclosure itself, most USB enclosures have a PCB with a SATA controller) used to connect the SSD.

As it is not enabled, is there a way to specifically a way to enable trim to a certain single drive?
The controller is inside the plug part connected to the SSD. As for enabling TRIM on that controller, I think the controller used on that USB adapter doesn't support TRIM since its up to the controller to send the TRIM command to the SSD and should be enabled by default on Windows if the controller supports it.

One more ?.

I have two SSD's connected to my laptop. The OS m.2 sata ssd and the 840 pro usb connected ssd.

with fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify, does that do all ssd's or just a single ssd?
That command does all SSD's. I too have 2 SSD's, one in my M.2 and the other connected via sata and both of their TRIM's are working. Use this and TRIM will appear in features if its working for the SSD: http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskInfo/index-e.html
