Lags... well I didn't notice them in game (or maybe I'm not that FPS drop senstive).
Still, I played on High details Full HD so I agree, not bad at all biggrin.gif

Also, 100% CPU utilisation isn't bad.
It means you are using your CPU to max. true - BUT the only thing you may see is a bit of lag (in my case record lag, not the actual in-game lag).
With FPS limiter to 45FPS I think lags in footage would have gone away...

What were your settings for GTA V benchmark?

In video description are links to video parts containing them.
But if you don't know the language :
Wysokie = High
B. Wysokie = Very High.

So basicly :
1080p (Fullscreen, No V-Sync), MSAA x4, TXAA On, FXAA On, MSAA reflections x8, PCSS Shadows.
"Very High" presets on everything (and "High", if there is no "Very High" like in Ambient Occlusion option).
Advanced options are OFF (except Extended Distance Scalling which was set to "1" on it's progress bar).
Population, and other bars near it are at 50%.

PS. Settings can be seen best @21:36.

Why its not in English?

I dont live in countries speaking English, but every program is on English, the way it should be.

Because I'm from Poland, and I downloaded Polish version of GTA V (+ I used it in other videos, so to be fair to other CPU's I didn't changed it).

I was just thinking imo I never leave a GPU at stock speeds ... way too slow...

Remember rx 480 of 71.36fps and 60.02fps firestrike? That's overclocked... Believe it or not stock rx 480 gets like 40fps average on step 1 & 2 ... Quite nuts to me to run a card at stock slow as heck clocks.

So we could compare the GTX 480 to 7970 GHz but I'll overclock the GTX 480 not that it'll help much but the GTX 480 is no slouch... I can get it up to 810Mhz core easily from bios and ram up to 200GB/s possibly... 810 x 48 = 38.88GPixel/s & 48.6GTexel/s ... probably way slower but GTX 460 2Win might be good to compare.

Which app should be compare? 3dmark03? best one yet haha jk wink.gif

Whats your stock clocks on RX 480 & whats your overclocked clocks?

Also what drivers do you use,17.4.3?

I have my RX on stock, well factory oc mostly, but when playing new games i apply my oc.

Nice man .. 1,266Mhz stock & 1,416Mhz overclocked... using 17.1.2 as they work better than 17.4.3 I found. thumb.gif

Its a 8GB version right?

Mine is Sapphire Nitro+ RX480 OC 4GB version.

Stock: 1306MHz core - 1750MHz Memory
Overclocked: 1500MHz core - 2250MHz Memory

I'll try and get some GTA V benchmarks just having issues with 32GB... the modules are different manufacturers software says yet look identical... I noticed on a hi def pic though there is goop around some of the transistors which I think I can fix if I clean the modules with 91% isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush... maybe a little soap as well.... I found this to fix "Bad Modules" so try it... Must let them dry thoroughly first though... If the bad modules have a heat spreader... use isopropyl alcohol to seep behind the adhesive and let sit... It will come off easily... I had to do this on a set of OCZ modules which did work surprisingly... they wouldn't even post before and are chiming out solid numbers and working fine now.

Until then I'm waiting on replacements or whatever and may clean them if I can return these or not I will clean and fix them... So take a hi def pic of your memory modules said to be "Bad" and examine the transistors and scratches etc... One tiny microscopic dust particle or goop can make it not work...

Yeah 8GB model Reference Blower Visiontek RX 480... and wow those are some high clocks. Surely your 3dmark FireStrike should easily wax my score... Firestrike only uses less than 1GB of video memory.

Then we can see if the Opteron is really as slow as we all think it is in games. I think benchmarks aren't AMD's cup of tea, well maybe so for Firestrike... AMD CPU paired with AMD GPU? haha

By the way my dual Xeon X5650 system isn't as fast as that... I could only hit 75fps test 1 if Tesselation Disabled... Tesselation enable maybe 68fps... For some reason Opteron is pulling more fps which is quite awesome. Not to mention I have found Fallout 4 to run better on the Opteron... Don't ask me how or why... I don't even know... Just enjoying it immensely.

I think because if you remember I hit 68fps Test 1 on the Opteron with low stock HT/ NB clocks... With high HT/ NB it edges out the Dual Xeon X5650 on gaming FPS on Firestrike by 4 frames per second...

So if Xeon X5470 is faster then Opteron, then if Opteron is faster then Xeon X5650 then X5470 is faster then both Opteron & X5650???

Dual X5650 is 2x 6 core cpu right?
