MG278Q causing system to lag

Hello.

Yes, you read that right, no, i'm not an idiot, yes it's really happening...

So i have a MG278Q, 2560x1440 144hz 1 ms FREESYNC Monitor to use with my AMD graphics card, but there's a problem with it, it causes the whole system to lag in specific cases wich is starting games, or basically anything that uses the GPU, once the game loaded everything is perfectly fine.

When it's "lagging" the whole system will slow down, even the cursor, everything.

And since the Creators Update, it's 10 time worst than that, leading to 2:30 minutes of lag that is slowing down even more when opening Minecraft with Optifine (Minecraft with Optifine is somehow the most impacted game with this issue) and even explorer.exe will be in a "No responding" state in the background.

The monitor was tested on 3 differents PC, even a Surface Pro, each systems has very different parts, Nvidia / AMD GPUs, AMD / Intel CPUs, they all have the same result.

Setting the monitor to 60hz or 1080p had no impact at all.

There is also something very interresting with this, if i plug more monitor to the PC that uses the MG278Q, there will be even more lag.

This is unreal, i never thought a monitor could slow down a PC, but well, this is actually happening and i would appreciate your help with that.

PS: Sorry for any mistakes i made while writing this, english is not my native language and it's 07h30 where i live, the sun is rising and i'm just about to go sleep.

Well if the same thing is happening across many PCs, then it is the monitor and it has to go back. Double check with another cable, but if the problem persists return.
