Ninox Venator 3360 - Page 16

got my sample from bst today. thx thumb.gif

random stream of thoughts. haven't plugged it in yet.

would help to have a note saying to remove the plastic from the mouse feet tongue.gif

shape is alright. not obnoxious like g303.
i don't feel the the pointy part at the back at all unless i use a slanted grip

sensor position is very low... maybe ~5mm lower than for g100s

loud/rattly pretravel on left/right clicks. other buttons are alright
i'll try opening it up and stuff. i think the clicks would be pretty good if the pretravel were fixed

same wheel as finallymouse tongue.gif
unfortunately the wheel rattles a lot...
scrolling action is very loose and somewhat loud
maybe i just got an unlucky wheel.

cable is decent. slightly less flexible than unbraided g pro/g403/etc... cable, but i think it's lighter.

i'd prefer untextured sides. i can imagine that the little holes will get nasty with use.

Can you post a picture showing the mouse from below alongside g-pro /g403 and or whatever you have available?

it's all good, it got the QC sticker!

@qsxcv
are those feet an issue on cloth? compared to those of the g pro, the edges look quite sharp (and so do the corners)
not an issue for me. i'm not very picky about feet though

more stuff

performance is alright
no mcu smoothing but from what i infer from mousetester, the timing of sensor communication has quite a bit of jitter (by quite a bit i mean relative to what's easily achievable. in absolute numbers i mean around ~100us whereas <10us is easily achievable)

no sensor rattle in mspaint

the profile configuration works fairly well

for my grip, i like to rest my ring finger near where the right button meets the side. on the venator, it's a little uncomfortable because it's a bit sharp there.

80g weight on my scale thumb.gif

What are the sides like? Can you say more about them, and maybe even post a photo? And click latency?

Is the jitter also present at 400/800cpi?

Because the facebook plots look different.

it's not a dpi thing or something that shows up in mspaint

it's similar to a (raised) g pro in bump test (like +- 1ms)
