Its is the same shell. Many new smaller mouse companies do this, mostly using motospeed. The scream ergo and dream machines mices were also motospeed mice with better internals than the motospeed branded versions. The ninox aurora was a similar situation, but used a different OEM than motospeed I think. Its is exactly the same shell as some Chinese mouse that is sold under the brand i-rock and that existed prior I think. The i-rock also has worse internals though.

Well, things have been tweaked.

The mold of the shell has been changed in various places, so its not exactly the same as the ones you'll find on amazon. I identified a few areas of concern around the buttons and scroll area, and they have been changed.

Then the firmware has been specified by me, it was my idea to create a menu system on the mouse and exactly how it would work, and testing the mouse to make sure the firmware was written well, a lot of which required them to create it from scratch instead of using cut and pasted code from other firmwares.

Then I used the best components that were compatible and available, affordability wasn't really a big factor in that area, I could have used cheaper components and they would have been just as available and compatible, but I chose to use the best I could. Also it would have been way easier to just go with a standard cord, but the factory and I worked with their supplier to make a new one.

Will the mouse be available in white and black or only 1 colour?

Just white in the first order, black may come later if the mouse is well received and I can place another order.

Thank you for releasing a white (basically any color besides black) mouse.

I am curious how the cable is going to be.

I'm a little confused as to what cable I want these days. Do I want a cable like the one used on the Revel or the cable on the G100s? Maybe I would really like to have a thinner and more consistent Zowie like cable. I know I like light and braidless cables.
