Okay so here is my plan. I'll put the epoxy on the threads, screw it's down, let it sit overnight and then back the screw out. After that I'll put some of the instant gasket on and then screw it down tight. Does that sound like it would work?
Should just screw down tight like normal so should seal with the o ring

So just ditch the gasket idea? Okay!!
Well there's a chance the gasket sealer could flake away or a little bit could jam in a pump or somthing I've had this happen before not fun.. Had to drain the whole loop for 1 silly mistake

Dude, if you're this hesitant to try the previously mentioned fixes, just buy a new block and save yourself the headache. Easy peasy.

How much does a new motherboard cost? CPU? RAM?

Retap it to a larger screw size or replace it.

I'm not the best person to ask. Any reputable place that accepts returns. I buy as much as I can from my local Microcenter so I can return and replace it in 20 minutes if it's bad. I work in IS and cannot afford downtime.
