Dell S2716DG vs Asus PG278QR screen coating?

Which has the clearer screen out of the Dell S2716DG and the Asus PG278QR? Ive had a few monitors lately and the TN one I had had a very "grainy" texture/look to it. This was especially annoying on a white screen for example like the one im on now typing this post or the google homepage. That particular monitor was the AOC AG271QX and I dont want that type of really odd looking texture again.

Going to order one of these based on the clearness of the screen but im hoping to get the latest revision of the Dell if i go for it, its rev A04 I think but not sure what the difference is but I think maybe theyve altered their screen coating through the revisions. Hopefully someone has experience with both monitors smile.gif

I'm can't help on those selected monitors. Based on monitors I have used in the past from both companies, Dell has the better "clearness". Plus you don't have to deal with Asus horrible QA problems with their monitors.

Ive found since I started this thread that a new revision of the dell has a much smoother coating. I think they should all be tyhe later revision in shops now so I should be ok.
