Any one use the EK-RES X3 250 upside down before. I have in the configuration where I am using the top fill port connected to the pump. In the manual it says to use it only as a an external fill port. I don't see why this would an issue. Any opinions?

We're saying this because in a normal situation where you use the reservoir in it's normal orientation, you only have one port on the top and if you use this port for a return line, you won't have any way of filling your loop.

Thanks. I've been using it upside down with a aqua pipe in the (original bottom) seems to be fine thus far.
