Just want some confirmation of the 960 EVO working with an Asus Prime z270-A. Been trying all day to get an SM961 to work and I can't for the life of me. I have given up and figured i'll chalk it up to it being OEM and return it and buy a 960 EVO. The mobo lists the 850 EVO as definitely compatible so I have just become paranoid and want some second opinions.

It's actually the 2nd SM961 i've tried so it makes me wonder if they're being bent in the bubble envelope things or if my m.2 slot isn't working. Either way just bought a 750 EVO instead.
Not really worth the effort imo. I mean it'd be nice to know if my mobo isn't 100% but it's potentially a lot of testing or some time without it to figure out for sure.
I would still try a PCIe to M.2 adapter for giggles.
