Agreed. It requires precision, and the designer needs to know what makes it good and needs to pay attention to those details.

Kinzu first please. There are many alternatives to the wmo shape, at least in terms of global size. The kinzu has next to none. All other small mice have rounded butts instead of the / soft slope

Actually I guess I-rocks is actually an OEM so they probably made it themselves. I thought they were just a company that had some Oem make stuff for them. The way these things normally work though is that you simply have an OEM make the mouse entirely for you using a shell they already have. That is what dream machines did with motospeed. That is what Ninox did and the Aurora is actually the same shell as a different I-rocks mouse and the new Ninox is motospeed. That is what Final Mouse did at least with the ergo which is motospeed. That is probably what Nixeus did though I'm not sure what OEM.

If you want one of these companies to make a WMO clone your best bet is to find an OEM that makes a 12$ mouse with a shell that looks like what you want and ask them to put better internals in it.

It is in consideration - as I have used that mouse and other Microsoft mouse in the past. Right now we are working on an ergo mouse.

We are an American company - so we can not make the "Exact same shape/shell" due to possible design patents.

How different would you say it'd need to be?

I definitely feel like a lot of the WMO alternatives on paper tend to not actually end up being like the WMO just because they get a few key points different. The thumb placement being fairly flat and not trying to wrap around your thumb (probably my biggest complaint about my Revel compared to the WMO actually), the hump being somewhat forward to force palm grippers to be in a more natural finger curl and the angle being just right for fingertip grip, the size feeling easily holdable for your average handsize without feeling too small, etc. At least, that's what I like about mine.

They are Taiwanese company and you can see that mouse has label 'Made in China'. So it has possibility that they do own the factory or they use another factory to produce that.
