I think they probably are an OEM since above that their site says they are. I don't know all the different OEMs very well so I thought they were just another one of those companies that sells cheap OEM mice with their name on them to asian markets. It would actually be interesting to have a post with someone who knows more about it with all of the different OEMs and what mice are from them by someone who knows more about it. I know uoak seems to know quite a bit about which mouse is made where and there are definitely some others that know the different OEMs well as well.

Isn't the revel shape pretty similar to the WMO already? I have both and they look almost the same. Although the WMO has separated the M1 and M2 buttons from the shell, so the clicks are much much better on the WMO than the revel.

They're both ambi but they definitely have differences. The WMO is a lot more curved / has its hump in the middle (which is ultimately preference I'd say), and the place for your thumb is more flat and doesn't try to curve around your thumb (which is why I like the WMO shape more than the Revel's, personally), as the two biggest meaningful differences.

I have a G403, as well as a Revel and a DM1 Pro S because I'm that kind of guy. I main the G403, but like the others too, despite their m1 / m2 inconsistencies.

So... On we go, designing the new classic.

My 'design' :

- Exact same shape, don't go messin' about!
- Love the original wheel too. Easy clicks, little bit notchy, light scroll, light click. Sweet.
- No braided cable, Nixeus / Zowie cables are nice. But make it slightly higher than original or point upwards, it's a bit close to the mat.
- Find a way to add a couple of usable thumb buttons. Switches on the side of the shell, on separate board, best feel. Couple dollars more won't hurt.
- I like my G403 m1 / m2 clicks too. Copy that! Originals not bad either. Basically, mechanical, not a cheap flexing shell.
- 3360 sensor. Same placement as WMO.
- 75 grams or less. Light!
- Light. Lights? Whatever. Don't think anyone needs any. As long as it doesn't add needless weight.
- Driverless, DPI button, 400, 800, 1200, 1600, 3200. Maybe a colored led at the bottom, like Zowies.
- Feets, well, the originals are good, something easily replaceable. Maybe Sensei-like.
- Texture... Colour... meh. I don't mind the Revel's bare plastic sides, although G403 is best, I've found. Original is plain ABS, works too.
- Price : $40-$50.

Hi IlIkeJuice,

Thanks a lot for mentioning us in your thread! Posts like that inspire us to work harder in order to create and deliver new products.

Since we have collected feedback from OCN users in the past, we know that a new gaming mouse with WMO shape is probably among the top requested products which gamers would love to see on the shelves. I would like to assure you and other OCN members that we are working to deliver new gaming mice having your feedback in mind. Whenever it comes to developing a new model, we always check back with the records we have collected throughout the mice threads on OCN.

I disclose any information when it comes to our future releases, but I would like to say that WMO-like shape is on the top of our list as well.

Thanks again for your post!

Hey DM,

What about a IE 3.0 shape? is that on top of your list too? coolsmiley02.gif
There are alot of competitors on that shape (Rival,EC1-A,Deathadder(kinda),Alcor/Mizar,etc.) but no one really nails it hope you guys have something in store for us!

Nowhere near IMO, and it's heavy. Closest ATM is the Scream One / Tournament Pro. But, yeah.... Shape like that, similar weight minus the braided cable and the flaws, that'd be actually pretty close.

Actually a nice idea. I still really like the WMO shape. The Revel for example is a bit too low in the front, so my ring finger constantly is in contact with mousepad if I want or not. Also, still, for whatever reason I haven't made out yet, the WMO butt is the most comfortable.
