Mousepad recommendation

Thread Starter
Hey everyone,

I'm looking to purchase a new mousepad, I currently have a Sharkoon Rush Outplay mouspad ()

But it's too small. (It's about 39.5mm wide and about 34.5mm long).

I got to try a mousepad that felt like my mouse was sliding on satin or something, it was delicious. I assume it's microfiber cloth?
So I've been looking around but I haven't found any mousepads larger than my current one that use microfiber (for sale in my country anyway).

So I was thinking I could maybe make one myself if I can find the appropriate cloth and rubber to stop it from sliding around.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Perhaps a custom mousepad design company or something? Or recommendations on which cloth I can use for a mousepad?

Thanks thumb.gif

making one yourself seems a bit tricky, you need to get really even coverage and all that.

what country are you in? maybe we can help you find one that's available and meets your criteria.

You can't get a Steelseries QcK+ in your country? I've had mine for 8 years and put it through the washer at least once a month and it still looks and feels brand new, except for the logo paint.

QcK+ is actually relatively rough feeling compared to some other options, definitely not what I'd call satin glide.

I've been looking around some more. (I usually browse https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/ in which I filtered for microfiber and didn't find any.)

Browsing YouTube I stumbled upon the Razor Goliathus Speed, so I ordered that one and see what that will feel like. (I can return it within 14 days for whatever reason I want, as long as I've ordered it online. Which I have of course hehe)

Usually not a big Razer fan but I figured there is not a lot that can go wrong with a mousepad.
The Razer is also a tiny bit bigger (39.5mm length, 44mm width), the graphic is a bit silly, would've preferred an all black pad but oh well.

I'll let you guys know if I'm happy with it.

Haha, really?

Anyway, so I got my new mousepad. It's better than what I had but it's still not as smooth as the small "satin" like mousepad I have.

Plus side is that the sides are "stitched" so the edges won't raffle (as much)

I found the mousepad with the "satin" feel on eBay if that helps.

I have no idea what that one is - but the most satin feeling pad I've used is probably Infensus OP. it's actually quite a good pad, on the slower side for my liking though.

they also have a gigantic version

Could you compare it to other pads in terms of static an kinetic friction?
Example vs Qck, GTFX, Hien...
