Razer Lancehead - Page 3

Looks kinda interesting shape-wise so far. As long as Razer invested heavily into their R&D for this it might be viable enough to compete with Logitech. While they cheap out and cut corners a lot, who knows maybe their nose is to the grindstone in order to keep up with Logitech's innovations. Guess we will just have to wait and see won't we thumb.gif

Dunno but the shape looks "new" for Razer but some kind of familiar to me headscratch.gif

Definitely reminds my of a Lachesis. I loved the Lachesis so much. A improved Lachesis would we a dream mouse for me.

However, on the other hand, even if they don't mess up with latency, weight and sensor, it will still be a crippled, Synapse dependent, registration forcing piece of crap.

But never say never, maybe Razer surprises us and they finally come to their senses.

they took a few mice off of their website, the new diamonback is no longer on there. perhaps a refresh with a not poop sensor incoming?

looking forward for more info on this lancehead too.

A lighter (~105g), wireless G502, with those new spring-tensioned buttons. The dream..

Not with 20-30 hours on a charge.

I don't see the point of wireless mice if I have to connect a wire to it every other day.

Would be easier with a chargepad / wireless charging.

i had a g900 for a whie i literally plug it into a mini usb phine charger for an hour once a week and it's charged it's not a big deal, off course charging pads are nice though but expensive.

And off coursethe vid

Ergonomics look disgusting, i don't mind the laser sensor there's been allot of firmware updates for avago 9800 etc. and the acceleration has been fixed dunno wth this 5g sensor is though.
Just look at how he's holding it they couldn't even design a mouse that can be held straight rolleyes.gif

You can get Qi protocol charging pads for as little as a dollar, they can be made pretty cheap. It wouldn't be difficult for a Qi mouse to come with a small, cheap charging pad and just say "put this under your mousepad" and have the range required for even the thickest mousepads still fit the Qi 1.2 spec (not that that really matters that it's in spec for a custom mouse with a custom charging pad, but would be nice to lower costs to use existing manufacturing for existing specs).

I haven't checked if this would supply enough power to sustain a mouse with constant use, but worst case your small battery needs to be a bit bigger and say "put it down for 10 minutes every 24 hours of use."
