HELP! CPU Threads go from 12 to 6 when overclocking!

Hello,

I'm in a bit of a struggle right now whenever I try to overclock my 1600. I notice that the thread count of the CPU goes from 12 to 6 after trying to overclock and I have no idea why. Does anyone have any insight to why this may be and how to fix it?

I read somewhere that usually you have to reinstall the Operating System, but I've already done that once before and it is still doing the same thing!

I would greatly appreciate the help!

Are you/have you disabled the SMT option in your bios?

Are you overclocking in the bios or with an inside the OS software?

Also for the sake of making it easier for others to help you, could you scroll to the top of your screen, on the top banner/site bar you'll see the Rigbuilder option. Create a new rig so that we can see what parts you have. Or you can simply list all the parts you have in your original post as well.

Does the SMT have an 'enabled' option? If so, try that.
