This is my planned build.

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($189.89 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI B150 PC Mate ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($84.78 @ Amazon)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($71.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Sandisk SSD PLUS 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($54.95 @ B&H)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($65.60 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB ACX 2.0 Video Card ($131.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Rosewill Challenger S ATX Mid Tower Case ($48.74 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: EVGA 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($32.89 @ OutletPC)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit ($88.58 @ OutletPC)
Mouse: Corsair Sabre RGB Wired Optical Mouse ($44.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $814.40

It is for a 12 yr old. Currently plays Minecraft, and Terraria. Planned pricing is around ~$850. Still need to find a keyboard to go with the build. Everything is being done with some type of longevity in mind. Any tweaks, and/or comments is appreciated. Thanks!

A slightly different take https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YBRhJV

As for OS.....you can get it much cheaper than 85 bucks legitimately.
