Which test are you running in Prime95? It should be the Blend test. The others don't test Sandy Bridge very thoroughly at all.


I said it will bottleneck "a bit". I'm not saying the bottleneck will be a problem. I'm just setting the expectation for a slight bottleneck because there will be one.

I think you will find that as you exceed 80-85% of your installed memory, CPU usage drops below 100%. This means the test isn't really doing anything because too much memory is being used. So, in my experience, it's very bad to have Prime95 use 100% of your memory.
