Have a better picture? Yeah i have the OC edition and these cards have very little overhead room for over clocking. here is my time spy http://www.3dmark.com/spy/1825625
Hello all, I just picked up one of the monsters. I am looking to do a custom open loop cooling system and noticed EK has the blocks in for these. Has anyone got some good gouge they can share with regards to the block and/or the Cards performance in general? Thanks in advance folks.
I'll be posting pics when I get home and can start the build. doing a TT core P3 build with this.

Hmm good questions , I would like to know also, But as far as my personally experience i always get EKWB you just can't go wrong with them, Under Gaming i never went over 45c it stays between 35-40c BF1 tested, for hours, Heavy benchmarks with over clocking might hit 50-55c under water, So i would say i'm happy with the results,
@Jacob650 Yeah, I have heard that the card performs amazing on Air cool under loads right now. I think around 50c at Max load. I just purchased an ACER Z35P to hold me over til the new ASUS/ACER PG34VQ/X35 are out. I think air cool will be fine til then. I am still planning on doing a custom loop to the CPU/VRM in a TT Core P3. But might hold a few just to give the card a chance to stand on it's own.
Just heads up for those getting waterblock for the Strix 1080TI. I had gotten the Bitspower strix 1080ti blocks. It was supposed to be able to use either ASUS original backplate or Bitspower Backplate. Please use the Bitspower backplate. As it seems to have issues with the original backplate. Games would crashed at even 60 degrees when used with original backplate. But once I swapped to Bitspower backplate (which has thermal pads on the vrams) it ran with no issues.
I had notified Bitspower Taiwan in regards to this issue.

I was waiting on the Bitspower block as well but pulled the trigger on EK, ordered it direct form their website came shipped DHL from Europe. I like the Bitspower design do you have pictures fully mounted on the 1080ti? In the past i always used the OE back plate. and first time i use EK's backplate and all i can say it's worth it! Temps are crazy low on water with my setup.
Temps for me are not that fantastic. Using Alphacool ST30 360 and 240 radiators with Phanteks Evolv ATX case. The case itself is pretty much fug up in the air flow. U could the BP blocks which I had took the photos in the post above.
