Supremacy Evo Jet Plate slightly Damaged?

Thread Starter
Hello all,

I got today my order from EK. When I was going to install the CPU Block, I saw in the manual that I need to change the Jet Plate for my 6700K CPU. But, the jet plate seems a bit dented/bended. Is it still usable?

Thank you for your help. This is my first build :3

if I pass my finger I can feel it. It still looks pretty flat as a whole.

This is the plate from the other side.

PS: you guys should find an other solution for the shipment of those. Packing them with the screws and other non flat stuff does not help at all. In my case, both jet plates have a bend. Then only one in perfect condition is the one that comes inside the block. (can I use that one? :S )

I agree with you

From what I see, the jet plate could still be used since it's a rather small dent.

But yes, you can definitely use the one already installed in the CPU block. The temp difference might even only be a fraction of a degree at the end. thumb.gif

Thanks for the Answer!!

I went with the one installed in the block. I will open a ticket tomorrow and see how it goes.

CPU block has been installed and I will build the water loop tomorrow since the heat gun is too loud I and don't want to get kicked out of my flat XD

I went through a similar situation with a torn plate. The skinny one. In the end they sent me two new ones, but they acted as though I was being foolish for asking. The really do need to figure out a better way to ship them.
