•Featuring Quantum Dot technology, both monitors offer a significantly wider, brighter and more accurate color range, with the Predator X27 supporting 99% of the Adobe RGB color space, and Predator Z271UV covering 130% of the sRGB color space

•Both monitors provide smooth and stutter-free gameplay thanks to NVIDIA® G-SYNC™, while NVIDIA ULMB™[1] (Ultra-Low Motion Blur) creates sharper, more realistic images

•The Predator X27 is a NVIDIA G-SYNC HDR monitor and features Acer HDR Ultra™ technology
Integrated Tobii eye-tracking technology help gamers aim, shoot, and explore more intuitively

Exited, too bad no release date!

Digging the X27, I like the direction they are going with the local dimming, next best thing to oled. Might be my next monitor since oled might be a while. thumb.gif

If this is cheaper than the equivalent Asus, it will sell. Glad to see ACER not letting ASUS think they own the high end market wink.gif.

Oh wow that Acer version looks elite! I bet Acer beats the ASUS to market. Starting to see rumblings of these pop up in Asian retailers.

We may have these babies within a month or two. We haven't seen this large of a step in monitor technology since OLED released.

I'm also getting the impression that Q3 is looking likely, though I'm only basing that off of the increasing amount of press releases and other mentions of these two 4k 144hz HDR monitors.

I think the tobi eye tracking is interesting and I would use it if it comes built into the monitor but not something I would personally spend money on otherwise, unfortunately seeing as the standalone tobi tech is $140 I think that makes it less likely that Acer will be undercutting the Asus in price whatever that turns out to be.

How much rumbling, I'm so excited for this! I am done with this 60hz U3011 of mine!

Don't forget to add on the price of at least 2 1080 Tis if you don't have that or equivalent already. From 0, you are looking at probably around $2K for the monitor and at least $1400 in GPUs.

Ya two 1080Ti's would probably be the sweet spot for this display, with two Xp's rounding out the top for a nice price increase.
