[GURU3D] Acer announces ACER Predator X27 G-Sync HDR gaming monitor gets 4K at 144Hz - Page 2

No price, no mention of latency...

Just have to wait for the non-gamified version since I'm sure the Tobii eye-tracking, etc, adds to the cost.

Pumped. Can't wait for this. Took my Omen off desk and have been using xb271hu just too see if I can get use to size. Have to admit not too bad.

Acer's Predator X27 portrays astonishingly vibrant visuals without motion blur thanks to a high 4K (3840x2160) resolution at a 144 Hz refresh rate, a fast 4 ms response time and a 1,000 nit peak brightness.

Spiffy. Always nice to see the high end get higher.

Ugh, so want these spec. But since using 34" ultrawide, every time I try to go back to a 27", it feels like I'm using 4:3 again and I am missing so much.

I think the tobi eye tracking is interesting and I would use it if it comes built into the monitor but not something I would personally spend money on otherwise, unfortunately seeing as the standalone tobi tech is $140 I think that makes it less likely that Acer will be undercutting the Asus in price whatever that turns out to be.

It comes built in

I got the ACER Predator X27 1440p 144hz and honestly I wish they will release a freesync version of this. I just want 300$ off the monitor since my gsync module is always off. It just add too much latency for games like csgo. Kinda excited if the price is around the same price of the other predators.

Have you had the opportunity to see g sync in action with high res displays driven by a single high end Nvidia GPUs? I wonder how the viewing and gaming experience is and whether g sync can at least slightly compensate for lack of SLI. My current build will only have one GPU unless Nvidia goes full retard/enthusiast and rereleases a dual GPU card.

C'mon, always, always include a shiny or 2 :D

I've never considered shrouds for gaming, but I like the option while creating art content in UE4/Maya/C4D etc...
