asus p9x79, mosfet cooler or naw?

Currently with the server case i have, im very limited in what my cooling options are.

With that being said i found a watercooler that would work as i really never liked the design of running a rubber tube to a radiator that long to a 120mm fan mount. now as shown in the pictures, my mosfet heatsink is the cause of alot of problems as it stands way too tall for the watercooler to fit. i did the measuring and even if i cut out the extra useless 30mm fan, i would still be about 1/2 an inch off. so i have come to the conclusion to make this work i would have to modify the mosfet heatsink.

Would i be able to get away with some vga coolers? and just epoxy them on?

or what do you guys suggest?

motherboard is an asus p9x79 and the watercooler is a HP Z420 WorkStation 647289-001 watercooler. i've already got the wiring squared away.

one thing also to note, is im seeing that there is another version of random motherboard that doesnt even have them on at all.

I plan on overclocking the cpu from 2.5 to 3 ghz if i can, on a xeon e5-2670 v2.

any help or insight is appreciated.
