Thanks to xioros for posting this since I was thinking about getting a CL case from that site... No way I am going to do that now.

Agreed. I was going to leave this for what it was after the review and just move on. I might just have been an unlucky (or simply over-demanding customer?), but the response prove to me that this was not the case. Part of me is glad this escalated before I actually paid for the order and not after. It would have a lot more of a mess if I had already transferred the money - especially if this happend at the end of the 11 week delivery window.

Yes, CaseLabs has been informed. I haven't linked them this specific thread, but they are aware of what's going on. I was going to forward the thread to them as well, but I've got a lot on my head lately and it seems like a fellow member has already taken that action. Thanks thumb.gif

Agreed. CaseLabs created a scenario in which this could happen. That said, I think it's an estimation error on their end, not their fault. Like I said and Duality quoted: they've done their best. While I do think they should have picked a better supplier from the start, they have no direct responsibility for BestCases actions.

The cynical thing is that I feel somewhat bit guilty for this thread. There's a very good chance that BestCases invested a lot of money in their business and that this would result in a big loss for them. I have no anger or hatred, but I'm very disappointed. They seem unqualified for this work and I think I have an ethical obligation to make this public, despite the potentially huge consequences this might have for the individuals that work at BestCases. Mixed feelings mad.gif

Ah, I read that and assumed they were aware up until the last interaction. Either way, what a crap situation for OP, I remember his thread asking about a perfect case and I immediately thought of CaseLabs. frown.gif

It's a somewhat crappy situation for me. That said, I won't be the one bearing long term consequences. They wasted a lot of my and CaseLabs time and made the past week a bit more stressful and frustrated that I would have preferred. The real losses here are for BestCases (and CaseLabs, unfortunately).

I don't think they did this with malicious intend. At first, I thought they were sloppy, but at this point I think they just incompetent and not capable of properly running a business. I've had some really bad customers with my own company. But it's absolutely essential that a business always tries to resolve problems, because the cost of not resolving them is usually a lot higher. And don't insult your customers. If you really feel the need to do so, do it in a mail - not on public on a review site. rolleyes.gif

As I just stated in the post above: I don't think they scam. I think they're simply unfit to run a CaseLabs reseller business (or even a business in general). But, like I also stated, I'm very glad that I hadn't transferred any money yet.

Yea =/ Currently in contact with PerformancePCS to see what they can do for me. Just a pity with the nearly €200 shipping. Could have used for something else frown.gif

Yea, only heard good things about them. Would be nice if the EU equivalents (OCUK, Highflow, Aquatuning, ...) offered CL, but I guess that won't be the case tongue.gif anytime soon.

Have you try to look for Caselabs cases on Amazon US ? They may have international shipping ofcourse it will be expensive but i think it is still cheaper than bestcase offer and faster too.
