Looking for the absolute best mousepad (Artisan?) - Page 2

I find both the qck and talent to be better than artisan. Artisan is quality no doubt but I find the size, comfort, and glide to be inferior to my other top choices. This is strictly speaking assuming you're looking to be competitive and have something reliable for LAN play. The talent offers more control while the qck offers freedom of movement

Edit: the Razer gigantus team edition isn't half bad either. But due to cost I'd just opt for the other options

Hi ncck I'm thinking about getting a puretrak talent because some people say it's similar to the old zowie gsr. Can you confirm/deny that? If it isn't do you know of any pads that are similar?

I have about 10 mousepads and my favorite is the hein mid.

I also have:

hayate soft (really nice but wore out quickly, slower than hein)
zowie gsr (like a higher quality talent, maybe a tad faster like the hayate but more durable)
puretrack talent (great pad, slower than hayate by a bit)
shiden mid (way too fast)
qck (very slow compared to everything else)
mm200 (very similar to qck)

and I prefer them in that order

Which zowie gsr did you have? The benq version or the old ones?

HyperX fury is really good (high quality foam almost like artisan) and bigger than QCK (500x420)

I'm currently rotating between g-sr SE+(i have all iteration of g-sr and i found this one the best) and qck heavy, i prefer the qck for it's raw untextured feel, maybe g-sr is a bit better if you use hyperglides but honestly every time i change mousepads i always end up using the qck.

I've been using Puretrak Stealth for years, great pad.

My Hien is 3 years old. Still the best pad I've used. Have fun.

My vote is the Razer Gigantus. I have a whole ton of pads including the QCK, Taito, Goliathus, Glorius and it's the one I always end up going back to. Its a silky feeling material and is a great blend of speed and control and it feels the same moving horizontally and vertically. I play great with it and it's the nicest surface to rest my hand and arm on and its a great size so right now nothing beats it for me.

Artisan is the most expensive...but maybe not the best.

I love the QCKs for about a month..the it gets a wear pattern in it that I don't like and I cant get rid of it.

I have both the Puretrak Talent and the black one both are great..they wear much better than the QCKs and if they do start to get a weird spot a wash fixes them right now.

I tried a GTF-X speed or whatever the one that came before it was and it was like sandpaper on my mouse..didn't like it at all.

I'm using a glorious gaming 3xl right now and its probably just as good as the talent.
