That chart is ridiculous. It's a 2 year old Fury X.

Ok, and AMD's new flagship, 2 years newer than Fury, the one they call "disruptive", will be 10% faster. Sure...
Feel free to believe that. Time will tell.

It has to be 60% faster to compete with 1080 Ti. Or 75% against TXP.

Sure, I'm just puzzled about the way people tend to believe in the first "leak" they see.
But logic tells that AMD won't release a new flagship that is in Fury X performance level. Right ?

Relax smile.gif Fact is that all we have seen about Vega so far, is 2160p Doom gameplay (with dips to 30 fps) and this "leak". Nothing impressive by any means.

I would be very surprised if Vega delivers 1080 Ti performance, but that would be great.

I'm going Vega or Volta next. If Vega won't be able to match or beat 1080 Ti, it's going to be Volta, because I know that will (GTX 2080/2070).

Well I won't lie, that Doom video troubles me a little bit.
But at the same time, why in the world all of their writing and speeches about Vega describe the GPU as revolutionary and disruptive?
I know how marketing works, overpromise and under deliver. But would they talk that much and then suck ?
I mean they took a lot of time. It's being released almost a whole year after the GTX1080.
There has to be something great about Vega. Let's see, I guess we should know the truth in the next few weeks.

Well, they also called Fury X an overclockers dream.

But I'm looking forward to see official Vega specs and benchmarks.
