On the other hand, contrary to what some are saying, they aren't quiet either. Answering a direct and clear question about how it performs compared to the 1080 Ti and Titan Xp is putting a performance bar on the table whether you admit it or not. Let's get the record straight on this. They aren't hyping it, but they are mentioning the ballpark.

They literally said that Vega looks nice compared to the Ti and Titan Xp, it's a nice looking card. Hence the packaging.

this link shows card this:

Quote:
 687F:C3 (4096SP 64C 344MHz, 16kB L2, 8GB 2048-bit) (OpenCL)

First bench was about card with "687F:C1"

The First bench shows GPU Score 5721

The Second Bench shows GPU score 10158

10158/5721 = 1.775563712637651

From 1 Ghz to 1.6 = 1.6/1 = 60%

From 1.2 Ghz to 1.6 = 1.6/1.2 = 1.33

So even with OC HBM , You can't get 10158.Probably both are fake or First was engineering sample with a low clock.

You can't really compare the two based on percentages when you have no idea what the spec differences are; % difference in shaders, rops, etc...

Exactly. If real they won't have the same shaders and rops, so scaling won't be linear.

That actually doesn't look so bad against the Ti either for a pre-launch bench, if that's true.
