I just want to know which cores to disable to increase performance. Any help?

what kinda cpu do you have ?
Are you overclocking ?

i think you really need to test each individual core in single core mode for maximum overclock, then limit it to your 4-6 best cores. i was thinking about doing the same for my 1055t, finding the weakest core to get a better overclock and better tpd with just 5 cores

If your BIOS has the option to disable one core per module you will gain a significant boost in a lot of software that doesn't use over 4 cores. Even in Windows 10 the scheduler still uses both cores in a single module too often when totally unnecessary.
