TPU's relative performance chart shows the RX Vega being 5% slower than NVIDIA's stock GeForce GTX 1080, and 27% slower than the GTX 1080 Ti, at 1080p. Radeon RX Vega beats the Radeon R9 Fury X by 31%, and is just 11% faster than the GTX 1070 at 1080p. These results should be taken with massive handfuls of salt, and real-world testing will need to happen to ensure we're not being fooled

People still posting it as "2048 bit bus" when it's 256 bit... (4x64bit).

People not paying enough attention to press releases to know that the ROPs have their own clocks and operate independently to the cache.

People not paying enough attention to know that the memory is literally four-channel and not monobloc "read OR write".

People not understanding that it's only two HBM2 stacks yet has more bandwidth than a Titan XpTi.

Hell, google is running this article with the headline "AMD Vega loses to GTX 1080 at 1080p" and is acting like its real news.

This thread needs to stay just like a ruler needs to put the heads of his enemies on pikes outside the front gate.
