Acer Z35P In hand and small review - Page 3

If you are looking at the black squares lighting up, you don't see any of them getting skipped or not filled in at 120 Hz? This monitor is just an anomaly, as I don't think I've ever seen a display intentionally run above the DP 1.2 spec.

I did not saw any square skipped and the picture shows just a fraction of what i see.
I was surprise too. When I found that option in the menu I was skeptical it might not work as you need to reboot the monitor and it is write that it may not be able to run at that frequency. But it does and perfectly.

Hi Oliver,

Just registered on the forum to ask you a question about the Z35P smile.gif

Is the stand removable and replaceable with a VESA mount? I am reading the specs online and the depth of the stand is 12.16" which I rather get a mount to save some space.

I see them in stock at my local computer shop so I probably will go get one tomorrow if I can put it on a mount.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry if this question is considered off topic
But that monitor seems to have a big curvature. Don't make you dizzy when you play games ? redface.gif

Hi, I do not see any screws from the back or any place you could remove the stand. This is what I see but their is for sure a way to remove the stand. I dont know if the Acer X34 is vesa compatible? If yes I dont see why the Z35P would not be.

If you are in the market for ultra wide and you can get it, vesa or not, it is the best you can buy at the moment I think.
