OCN website slow on firefox?

Thread Starter
I recently finished my Ryzen build with Windows 10 PRO and OCN website is superslow. It acts like when a program isn't responding but it will if you're patient, it affects other tabs. Even when using just 1 tab and no other programs. telemetry doesn't show high memory or cpu usage either. I sometimes see flash plug in slowing down message of some sort on top of the browser then disappears. Even with antimalware/virus off it's still slow. Chrome and explorer aren't affected. I've tried reinstalling and deleting all mozilla folder but issue remains.

What do you mean by "killed flash with a plug-in"?

I use FF Only and OCN is responsive for me. As others have said, it may very well be a browser plug-in causing the issue.

Aloha to you again,
The slow issue with the browser is a simple flash issue.
You have 3 options to try.
1. Since you said Firefox is your main browser, you can install any of the myriad of Flash disabling plug-ins available. You can search directly from the Menu- Extensions then do a search for
available flash disabling "plug-ins". Choose the one that best fits your needs.
2. You can completely uninstall Flash in your system by doing the normal Program - Remove allowed in any windows OS.
3. You can go to Adobe website and use the Adobe un-install flash widget to remove flash.

Alohas to you once more. Response was reviewed since I am a "Newbie" Poster. LOL.

Sorry the confused me. I never had a problem with OCN and plug-ins before. I've reinstalled firefox and deleted all extensions, shouldn't that helped it? Don't I need flash to watch youtube videos?

You can watch YouTube videos with HTML5 Video. Almost all latest browsers support it by default.

The cause could be something else, have you tried running a full system scan with anti-virus, etc?

Alohas to you again,
Thanks @ sepiashimmer, I was going to let him know that flash is not necessarily needed to watch videos.
He can take a look at this lil explanation given by how-to-geek as to when, why and how flash is needed or used.
Html5 is the way we are going, to replace flash due to many issues, security being one of them.
link to explanation is a lil old , done back in 2015 and we have made greater strides towards a flashless world since then.

https://www.howtogeek.com/223338/how-to-watch-web-videos-after-uninstalling-flash/

Take a look-see and then make a judgement based on your needs.
Alohas.
